About the event

Traditional Full Moon In honor of Grandmother Moon’s Fullness, we gather to heal and celebrate. Through Sacred Native Song, music and Prayer, She and the Ancestors are invoked - her illumination providing direction for ourselves and our relations through the darkness. The Ceremony is conducted in a Traditional manner. Regarding protocols, participants are required to be a minimum of 24 hours clear of alcohol and recreational substances. As for appropriate attire, women wear ankle length skirts/dresses and shirts that cover the shoulders. Men wear pants and shirts that cover the shoulders. Those of other identities wear sarongs over shorts/pants and a shirt that cover the shoulders. As a courtesy, please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes and essential oils. A feast follows so bring healthy fare to share. Everyone welcome, including children of all ages. Respectful reciprocity is requested and appreciated.
